There is much to think about when you are moving from your apartment. To make it easier, we have compiled a to-do list of the most important points.

Notice period.
Normally, the terminated contract is to the end of the month occurring after three months. For example if you terminate your contract February 10 so will March, April and May be your dismissal months and the apartment must then be moved out by June 1st.

Apartment.
When you are cleaning the apartment, it is easy to forget some nooks and crannies where the crumbs and dust like to gather. Please take help of our cleaning tips. If the apartment is not properly cleaned, could we be forced to charge you for cleaning costs.

Equipment.
Ensure that all equipment belonging to the apartment is on site during the inspection. These include, for example, doors, bathtubs, bathroom cabinets, wardrobe, etc.
Stores outside the apartment.
Must also be emptied and cleaned.

Inspection.
Contact us at 0651-686 60 for a inspection time, once the apartment is moved out and cleaned up. It is good if you can include yourself in order to discuss the potential damage in the apartment. You have to bear the costs of excessive wear and damage. Damaged flooring, holes in doors and excessive wear on the wallpaper are examples of such damage.

Display of the apartment.
As a departing tenant are you required to show the apartment for new tenants.

Phone.
Order the transfer of the phone in time.

Post.
Do not forget to make a move and address change notification, preferably via www.adressandring.se.

Electricity.
Don’t forget to contact your electricity-company.

Keys.
All keys must be submitted to Ljusdalshem, also applies to the keys that you have paid for yourself (no compensation for these). Also, remember to return any garages and stores keys, keys to the laundry room, etc. If a key is missing when you move out we are forced to change the lock cylinder for safety, which means that you will be charged for the cylinder replacement.

Bulky waste.
