The Hammaren Student Dormitory is located directly adjacent to Slottegymnasiet. It was built in 1994 to meet the boarding needs of the school's students.

There are 78 rooms in the dormitory, all of which are single rooms with a toilet, shower, internet connection and refrigerator. Each corridor has its own kitchen where you can cook your own food. We recommend that you bring your own household utensils and store them in the room (such as a pot and frying pan, cutlery, glasses, plates, etc.).

The rooms are rented out unfurnished.

AME-Butiken in Gamla Stan (Old Town) is a recycling store with furniture and lots of other items at good prices. It is run by the municipality.

Just a few hundred meters from the dormitory is a well-stocked grocery store, where you can find most of what you need.

There are many things to do in the house – billiards, ping-pong and other ball games – and you can arrange movie, game or coffee evenings in one of the meeting rooms or why not just relax in front of the TV.

In the immediate vicinity of the student residence there is a wide range of leisure activities such as a lighted track and well-groomed ski tracks in the winter, an artificially frozen bandy track, a curling hall and a tennis hall. There is also a riding stable nearby.

The application must be made by a guardian if you are under 18 years of age.
