Nearby is the river Ljusnan and the lakes Växnan, Borrsjön and Vikarsjön.

Borrvägen 22-30 is located in a scenic area between Ljusnan and Borrsjön with a small swimming area within walking distance. There is a daycare nearby. The walking path to the center is 2 km, by car 3 km.

Ramsjövägen 5 is located after highway 83, about 1 km northwest of Ljusdal Church and the plot borders Ljusnan. Here there is, among other things, a walking and cycling path to the center, proximity to a large swimming area and nice exercise trails.

Kolsvedjavägen 1-9 & 8-10 are located next to Ljusdal Church, just under 1 km from the center. Here there are, among other things, two preschools and a kiosk.

Museivägen 36 is located near the city center and Ljusdal Church.

Ramsjövägen 12-14 is located after highway 83, just under 1.5 km from the city center and less than 100 meters from Ljusnan.
